DURATION：36 months：January 2017 to December 2019
GOAL：
To establish demonstration sites with various advanced technologies, promote the vegetation restoration, expand the forest area, improve the quality of sandy land ecosystem and sustainable management level, prompt multiple function forest management, prevent desertification, which will establish mode for vegetation restoration and forest resources management utilization in Greater Central Asia.
OBJECTIVES
· Summarize the best practice for desertification control in Chifeng;

·Demonstrate the high-standard sandy vegetation restoration and afforestation technology to improve the quality of stand and multi-functional benefits of forest.

· Using apricot resources in the farm, demonstrate low efficiency forest management technology, improve the ecological and economic benefits of forest and develop sand industry.

· Convene the training courses on vegetation restoration and forest resources management to improve forest management.

· Disseminate the project progress and achievements.

· Monitor and evaluate the project progress.

Output 4. Capacity building for 500 personnel, domestic and foreign exchange for 20 people*time, and develop the training manual
