APFNet Board of Directors, established in 2015, is the organization's decision-making body. Pursuant to the APFNet Operational Framework, the Board of Directors provides general oversight of APFNet operations and makes decisions on significant issues.

Its Rules of Procedures mandates the Board to

Define and revise APFNet strategies, objectives, and priorities

Supervise APFNet operations, activities, and expenditures

Adopt APFNet administrative and financial regulations, the annual work plan and annual budget

Recruit, appoint, and assess the performance of the Executive Director

Appoint the Project Appraisal Panel and its Chair

Decide on the organizational framework and the establishment of subsidiary bodies
