The Project Appraisal Panel (PAP), comprising internationally recognized specialists in forestry and related fields and experienced in project/program development and management, is responsible for screening and appraising projects. The Panel makes recommendations to the Executive Director on the technical feasibility and suitability of project concepts and proposals for APFNet funding decisions.
Appraisal panelists are recommended and reviewed by APFNet members through Council meetings, and approved by the Board of Directors.
