UBC Explored Project Cooperation with APFNet

A delegation led by Mr. John Innes, Dean of Faculty of Forestry, University of British Columbia (UBC), paid a visit to the APFNet Secretariat on 28 March 2011. Both sides introduced their own competitive advantages, operation scope respectively and exchanged viewpoints and comments on potential fields and ways of cooperation as well as the long-term cooperation mechanism. Mr. John Innes, on behalf of UBC, expressed their willingness to strengthen the project cooperation with APFNet to advance the regional forestry education.

As the biggest forestry education institution in North America, faculty of forestry in UBC has a world wide reputation for forestry education and research and aimed at fostering creative and modern foresters.
