Mr. Zhao Shucong, Chair of the APFNet Board met with IUFRO delegation and witnessed the MoU signing between two organizations

On 23rd October 2016, Mr. Zhao Shucong, Chair of the APFNet Board of Directors, met with IUFRO delegation headed by Prof. Michael Wingfield, President of IUFRO and discussed the cooperation between APFNet and IUFRO at the APFNet Secretariat Office in Beijing. Mr. Zhao and Prof. Wingfield witnessed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between APFNet and IUFRO.

It was mutually agreed under the MoU that Forest and landscape restoration, Forest and water interactions, Forest and non-wood forest products for a greener future, Forest education and development of capacities of early-career researchers and officials are the priority areas of cooperation.
