GOAL
To provide essential information for forest development in the Greater Central Asia for assisting forestry policy making in the framework of Belt & Road Initiative.
OBJECTIVES
To review the current state of forests and forestry in the Greater Central Asia;
To analyse the contribution of forests to economic development in the Greater Central Asia;
To summarize the forestry policy and legislation in the Greater Central Asia;
To summarize best practices for sustainable forest management in the Greater Central Asia;
To make a holistic review of forestry education and research, forestry projects and initiatives in the Greater Central Asia;
To identify the challenges and opportunities for forestry development in the Greater Central Asia.
