Board of Directors



According to the Operational Framework, the Board of Directors is established as the decision-making body of APFNet, and its responsibilities include:

  • a) Defining and revising APFNet strategies, objectives and priorities;
  • b) Adopting APFNet administrative and financial regulations;
  • c) Appointing the Executive Director, determining his/her term, assessing performance and terminating employment, if warranted; and
  • d) Deciding on the organizational framework and the establishment of subsidiary bodies, including branches and offices in the region.

The Initial Board of Directors was established on 8 April 2015 at the headquarters of APFNet, Beijing, China. Currently, there are fourteen Board directors, among which two are ex-officio directors, one is appointed by the host economy and the other is the Executive Director of APFNet who also serves as Secretary of the Board. The rest of the directors are all elected according to the information and input provided by the APFNet members.
