Duration of appointment: up to 7 working days during October -November 2023
Department: Division of Monitoring and Evaluation
Job Summary:
—To design an evaluation plan for this project in full consultation with APFNet and the Executive Agency.
— To collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data through project documentation review and field investigation.
— To evaluate if the project implementation is on track both technically and financially towards achieving its set goal and objectives, and figure out the encountered problems and their underlying causes.
—To formulate an evaluation report and provide recommendations for improving project implementation and management.

Qualifications and requirements:
• Master or doctoral degree in forestry, natural resources management or related field(s);
•At least 10 years experience as a researcher or independent expert in conservation of forest germplasm resources and watershed forest management;
•At least 5 years experience in project evaluations;
•Currently residing in Myanmar;
•Strong skills in data processing, analysis and interpretation;
•Professional proficiency in oral and written English, and
•No conflict of interest with any of the parties involved in the evaluation.
