APFNet and TNC explored future cooperation
Lu De, the APFNet Executive Director, welcomed Will McGoldrick, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Regional Managing Director of the Asia Pacific, at the Secretariat office on 22 March 2023.
TNC is an APFNet member, and the two organizations have maintained a close working relationship over the years. At the meeting, both organizations introduced their latest strategic priorities, initiatives and programmes concerning sustainable forest management. The two organizations shared the views on promoting sustainable forest management to contribute to enhancing local livelihoods and the delivery ecological benefits from forests. Both agreed to seek future collaboration in the areas of common interest in China and the Asia-Pacific region.
